Doors are manufactured to be Kubu compatible, meaning they can be smart activated with the Kubu Starter kit. If there are red stickers on your lock, your door is Kubu compatible. Kubu is extremely secure. The Kubu Lock contains the UK's largest hooks and bolts and has PAS24 accreditation. Kubu does not allow remote unlocking from your phone, meaning the lock on your door is not controlled by the cloud. If anyone hacks your phone, they will not be able to lock or unlock your door.
The Kubu Starter Kit contains a Kubu Hub and one Door Sensor, allowing you to activate one door lock. If you have additional doors, you will need to purchase a Starter Kit and then a single door sensor per additional door that you've had installed.
With the Kubu App on your phone, you’ll always know the status of your doors. The app also allows you to track key turn notifications, door history and share doors with your friends and family as well as other features.
